Twin Bins Collection Dates

Barking has two wheelie bins*, green lid for recycling and black lid for refuse destined for land fill. Collection is very early on Friday morning (approx 7am), so you need to put your wheelie out late on Thursday night. Please do not leave the bins out longer than is necessary. During Bank Holiday weeks, collection is usually one day later (Saturday mornings). Please refer to the following calendar for collection dates.

* There is also a compostable waste using brown bins. Please contact Mid Suffolk District Council if you wish to obtain a brown bin. These bins are collected on alternate Mondays.

There are special "green" bins at the Civic Amenity Sites and any compostable material

(eg garden waste) may be placed into these and will be taken for composting.

Textile Recycling
